Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a deeply effective treatment for renewing a fresh, young-looking glow to your skin.

Often described as non-surgical plastic surgery, Microdermabrasion is a super simple and super effetive skin treatment which is so undisruptive that even people with sensitive skin can undergo treatments. Nicola Jayne Beauty uses Diamond Microdermabrasion where using a diamond tip, the outer layers of the skin are exfoliated removing tired and dull looking unwanted skin cells. The diamond tip is so gentle that it causes no discomfort and no pain and removes only the top layer of skin cells, revealing new, living cells leaving a healthy glow. The epidermal layers of the skin are rejuvenated leading to collagen production and plumper skin.

Microdermabrasion is a progressive procedure. After the first session your skin will feel softer and you may see a very subtle improvement. Generally a course of sessions is required to gain visible improvement. Your skin however will improve with additional treatments as increased circulation is noted within the dermis and newer, healthier skin cells are produced.

LED therapy uses specific colour wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin at varying depths. The light works to energies cells in the skin to produce collagen, improve elasticity and increase blood circulation and oxygen flow while releasing toxins. This stimulates the anti-ageing process, helps to normalize cellular imbalance and improves skin tone and clarity.

It is a natural reaction, similar to that of plant photo-synthesis which triggers the body to convert light energy to cell energy.
